A live-action television drama adaptation aired from September to November 2021, while an anime television series adapted by OLM aired from October to December of the same year. Shouko Komi has already been dubbed the school’s Madonna on her first day at Itan Private High School. Her towering good looks and long, black hair captivate everyone who sees her. There’s just one problem: despite her celebrity, Shouko is terrible at making friends.
A typical high school student, Hitohito Tadano, is nothing special. Because of his life credo, “read the situation and make sure to avoid conflict!” he quickly discovers that sitting next to Shouko has made him the enemy of everyone in his class. After being knocked out, Hitohito is startled awake by Shouko’s “meow.”
