After years of half-baked announcements, Nintendo has finally confirmed that Pikmin 4 is real and will be released in 2023.
Only a few scenes were shown before the Pikmin logo appeared and a swarm of the little beasties rushed in to form the four.
Otherwise, a lovely green garden was on display, with the series' iconic Grub-dog antagonist appearing in one of the scenes.
Pikmin 4 has had a long and peaceful journey.
Shigeru Miyamoto stated in 2015 that the game was "very close to completion."
