About One Piece
Eiichiro Oda is the creator of One Piece. Since July 1997, it has been serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shnen Jump, with 98 tankbon volumes published. The story revolves around young Monkey D. Luffy, whose body transforms into rubber during the course of the story. In their quest for Pirate Kingdom, he and his gang of pirates, the “Straw Hat Pirates,” set out to find One Piece in the “Grand Line.”

A synopsis
Monkey D. Luffy sets sail from the East Blue Sea on a quest to find the titular treasure and proclaim himself King of the Pirates. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates embarked on an expedition to form their own crew while searching for One Piece.
The Straw Hat Pirates set sail for the high seas in search of treasure as a group. They bought a ship and set sail to confront the local piracy fleet. Later in the series, various characters join Luffy on his adventure. When the Going Merry can no longer be repaired, the Straw Hat Pirates acquire a new ship, the Thousand Sunny. The crew of the buccaneer ship is sailing the high seas in search of treasure and adventure.
