Who Killed Sara? (¿Quién Mató a Sara?) is a David Ruiz-directed thriller series starring Ximena Lamadrid, Carolina Miranda, Manolo Cardona, Eugenio Siller, and others. Who Killed Sara season 3 will premiere on May 18, 2022, after two seasons of 18 episodes.
Who Killed Sara season 2 was released just a few months after the first season, and it came with more questions than answers, to no one’s surprise. Who killed Sara is a question that will likely never be answered, but the series did give us some hints! Check out the article for a recap of the previous episode and what to expect from the final season of Who Killed Sara.
Who Killed Sara season 2 Ending
Nicandro is on the phone with Dr. Alanis at the end of Season 2 of Who Killed Sara, discussing how no one should know what they’ve done. Yes, there’s another conspiracy about Sara being a participant in Alanis’ secret experiment on her. Sure, we all know Sara sought therapy from Alanis and even received electro-shock therapy in order to avoid ending up like her father. However, after learning the innocent (well, you know) explanation for Sara’s death, this comes as a shock and justifies a third season. What is the purpose of this experiment? Why would Nicandro act in this manner? We don’t know, but in the grand scheme of things, this latest conspiracy feels a little excessive.
The relationship between Sara and Marifer is also an issue. Because Abel raped Sara’s mother and was the reason why Marifer and Clara’s mother, Cristina, vanished unexpectedly – he killed her – the neighbours must have shared the same father. He wasn’t a good guy, and he got out of his psychiatric hold thanks to Sara’s stupid adolescent brain. So, was Marifer responsible for Abel’s sins by murdering her half-sister? Well, no. Because Sara was a little B to her, the logical course of action was for her to cut her parasail straps… because that’s what enraged teenagers do.

In any case, the night Sara discovered the truth and recorded Abel’s confession was also Abel’s death night. Abel attempted to murder Sara, who ran away and called Rodolfo, because she had refused to give him money. Cesar, on the other hand, answered the phone and arrived at Sara’s house just in time to shoot Abel, who was about to stab his daughter. So, where is Cesar these days? Yes, he’s sipping pia coladas on a tropical island after fabricating his death.
So, where do our protagonists stand right now? After learning the truth about Sara’s death, Elisa and Alex may decide to retire for the time being. Chema is in prison after confessing to the murders of Moncho and Abel. And Nicandro will almost certainly do something stupid that will expose the truth, and Alex will learn yet another heartbreaking truth about his disturbed sister.
Is Sara dead? Because that is what we must question at this point.
What to expect from Who Killed Sara season 3?
Season 3 of Who Killed Sara will require you to suspend your disbelief a little more than season 2 because… Sara is still alive and well. Yes, the twist appears to be completely revealed in the trailer: Alex will learn about Sara’s disappearance, Project Medusa, Sara’s hereditary schizophrenia, and more. But how do her mental health issues factor into this? Is there anything special to be found? Is Sara a force to be reckoned with? Let’s hope there’s a twist other than Sara’s resurrection, because otherwise, it’ll be a flop. However, given what we’ve seen for so long, that’s a foregone conclusion.
Marifer also appears to be alive, though severely burned. I’m both perplexed and fascinated.
